A fun summer theme for a baby shower is an outdoor afternoon tea-party. All the woman wear summer dresses and summer hats. The menu consists of an assortment of finger sandwiches (crust removed and cut into vaious shapes such as circles, triangles and rectangles, squares, and flowers. The assortment would be eggsalad, chicken salad, tuna salad, cream cheese and chives, and ham & cheese), a fresh fruit platter, and fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate, mini quiches, a non alcoholic fruit punch, and cake for dessert. Fresh flowers should be on every table and edible flowers can decorate the food platters and cake. Coffee, tea, punch, lemon water to drink. I attended a shower like this and it was so much fun and everything looked so beautiful!
Baby shower in general I am taking this as. Games like find all they words in the word BABY SHOWER or unscramble a list of baby items….crib, toys, ..you get the idea.
Think of a theme. Mine was the movie Happy Feet. Summer time maybe hold it in a park and have a outdoor games. Bugs or animals or beach might be a good summer theme. Make it fun for not only the ladies and kids but men too. Give out prizes for the winners.
