Find out where she’s registered and look at the average gift price. Not the little tiny stuff and not the big pricey stuff…just something in the middle. If you don’t know where she’s registered, ask.
It all depends on your budget and where u get the card from. Some places have a higher minimum than others. Try going to a store where u can see things that u might get and that can help u with the amount u can give them. But a reasonable amount can be as little as $25.
Anywhere from $20 on up, depending on what you can afford. You’re not expected to break the bank over this…..after all, you are already throwing the shower, and have expenses for that as well.
$20.00 seems good to me because if a lot are contributing she’ll have enough to go on a small spree…Think of it this way: You always need some bucks for when the baby comes home and this and that is needed to make things comfortable for the small family!

Although, since I had my own child, I tend to do much more cuz I like helping out since I got so much and I’m very grateful for everything I received when I was pregnant. Or, you could also cut back a little on how much you spend now, and get another gift for after the baby is born when everyone knows if it’s a boy or girl.
