well for invitations, u can buy a whole lot of baby bottles and fill them up with confetti and ribbons along with those cute little plastic pacifiers or other little baby girl things that might fit and make labels with the person{s} name on it and slip it in there. those would be some creative invitations and different. gifts i would recommend to get her registered at a well known store like target or babies r us. that way she can pick what she wants for her baby and her guests wont repeat the gifts. hope i was of some help. good luck.
When the main theme of a baby shower hinges on the gender of the baby it is really important to make sure the theme is clear and carried out through every aspect of the party. A baby girl shower needs to make people think all about girls and the typical girl stereotypes work well to get this theme across. Baby girl shower decorations should focus on the color pink and generally convey the image of girls.
Free baby girl shower decorations can include things like flowers. Flowers and girls go hand in hand, so using flowers as decorations is ideal to convey a girly image. In addition, extra girl themed wrapping paper can be used to wrap empty boxes to use as centerpieces. These are great ideas when money is tight.
Baby girl shower decorations are perfect for a baby shower where the idea is to make it clear the baby is a girl. Little girls are cute and prissy and delicate, so anything that fits with those ideas works great. It is very simple to add a girly touch to almost any decoration.
We used pink and white crepe paper and twisted it down the center of the tables, along with “baby girl” confetti.
We made Christmas bulbs that we hand painted snowflakes on for the favors. (My daughters due date was 12-10-05) Everyone loved the bulbs, so loved them so much that they took the extras from people’s places that didn’t show up.
We did a cupcake tree. Each cupcake was decorated with white frosting, then about 20 had mini-roses made of sugar, and the other 40 had Wilton’s brand baby item decorations (ie. bottles, pins, and rattles)
The invites were all hand made with a pink baby buggie that was hand embossed and dusted with pink chalk.

Some good baby girl decoration ideas include mirrors, bows, frills and lace. Small mirror and comb sets tied together with bows do double duty as table décor and favors. Anything frilly or lacy conveys the image of a baby girl, so using lacey table cloths is a great idea. Decorations can also be like fairytale princess themes. All these ideas reflect a baby girl and work great as baby girl shower decorations.

Here’s a few things from my baby girl shower.
Hope this helped. And good luck
